On 2nd December 2025, Mu Pharma visited Georgina Eye Clinic to celebrate Dr. Juliet Otiti Sengeri and express appreciation for her continued support of Mu Pharma brands.

The visit recognized Dr. Sengeri’s remarkable achievement of earning a PhD from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, reflecting her dedication and excellence in advancing eye health in Uganda and beyond.

On 29th November 2025, Mu Pharma conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session with Pediatric Interns at Mulago National Referral Hospital, focusing on the management of common dermatological conditions in pediatric care.

The session was facilitated by Dr. Hannah Mwebaza, who provided practical insights on Elica, Elicasal, and Elica M, highlighting their therapeutic value, safety profile, and appropriate clinical use. The training emphasized real-world application, enabling interns to confidently integrate these treatments into everyday practice.

Participants appreciated the session for its relevance to routine clinical work and acknowledged the effectiveness and trusted safety of the formulations discussed. The engagement also encouraged responsible prescribing to support improved patient outcomes.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Samanya Keziron and attended by Mr. John Manigaruhanga, Team Leader – Ophthalmology, and Dr. Ssewankambo Deo, Field Force Supervisor.

The CME focused on creating awareness of Mu Pharma’s ophthalmology products, including Hyfresh Gel and Croma, with emphasis on their clinical application and role in improving patient care.

Participants engaged in discussions on product use and shared practical experiences from clinical practice. Post-session remarks were delivered by Dr. Ntende Jacob, who emphasized the value of continuous medical education in strengthening eye care services.

The session, led by Dr. Hannah Mwebaza, highlighted Elica (Mometasone Furoate 0.1%), Elica M, and Elicasal, emphasizing their clinical indications, benefits, and safe use in children. Participants engaged in case-based discussions, shared experiences, and explored best practices for prescribing topical corticosteroids and combination therapies.
