Uganda Pharma & Healthcare Expo 2026,

The Uganda Pharma & Healthcare Expo 2026, held from 26th to 28th March 2026 at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo, marked the 5th edition of one of East Africa’s leading pharmaceutical and medical exhibitions. The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders across the healthcare value chain, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device companies, healthcare professionals, regulators, and investors from Uganda and several international markets such as India, China, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

Among other benefits, the expo served as a strategic business-to-business (B2B) platform, enabling networking and partnerships between local distributors and global suppliers seeking entry into the Ugandan and broader East African market, and also provided an avenue for distributors and or suppliers to receive direct feedback from users of the products. Given Uganda’s heavy reliance on imported medicines, the exhibition highlighted significant opportunities for investment, local pharmaceutical manufacturing, and supply chain strengthening.

A broad spectrum of sectors was represented, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, diagnostics, laboratory technologies, nutraceuticals, and digital health solutions. In addition to product exhibitions, the event facilitated knowledge exchange through discussions on regulatory frameworks, healthcare innovation, and emerging industry trends.

Key local pharmaceutical distributors included but not limited to JMS, ABACUS, MU PHARMA, PISTON PHARMA, SURGIPHARM among others
